New history. Hmm… The title obviously refers to Dr. Hunt and the new cardio surgeon Dr. Altman.

Yeah, something clearly went on there, once upon a time. It obvious from the get go.
Surgery of the Week.
Surgery this week goes to Hunt’s current slice, Cristina Yang.

In spite of the fact that Yang thinks Dr. Altman hates her, she actually proposes that Yang performs some serious heart surgery on a patient of the new surgeon. Of course, Yang thriving off cardio as she does, she cannot wait to do it and executes it to perfection. To say she’s been out of practice, Cristina still has it.
Romantic Moment of the Week.
For once, the shows ‘main’ couple actually show us some romance this week.

Meredith and Derek (also know as ‘MerDer’) have a chat this week, as Grey reveals that she would like another ‘perfect 5 seconds’ sometime soon. Shepherd proceeds to kiss her face 5 times in different places, making her wish come true. It’s cute. Is being cute different to being romantic? Maybe.
Dr. Bailey Moment of the Week.
This was hard, because there were so many great Bailey moments this week.

But in the end, I went for Bailey going temporarily insane and asking the Chief if he was having an affair with Izzie. Yes, you heard correctly. She does actually have some pretty good reasons for asking this question, but it is totally absurd, you have to admit. The Chief continues to laugh at her as she rants to him about how his wife believes that she is having an affair with him. Funny to watch.
Quote of the Week.
And in the theme of the Chief’s wife Adele thinking that Bailey is having an affair with their husband, some ‘help’ comes in Bailey’s defence in the form of Callie. Only digging a hole for herself, she says:
Yeah, but that’s just because they’re husband and work wife. The Chief’s your work husband and you’re his work wife! You look out for each other, you take care of each other, there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s like me and Sloane. (Glares are received from Adele and Miranda.) He’s my work husband, but he has a girlfriend – I have a girlfriend – but there’s nothing going on between us!
It’s better when you watch it. Sara Ramirez (who plays Callie) actually shows us some comedic talent here, and I like that.
Overall Episode Rating: 6.5 out of 10. This episode lacked the ‘WOW’ factor from the past few weeks, making it slightly more boring.
