The Geordie four-piece band are just what the doctor ordered I think. With songs whice they decribe as ‘kitchen sink indie’ they’re easily my very favourite band.
Known for their tendency to play songs as they travel round on trams, trains and metro’s, these kids are all about having a laugh and not taking life too seriously. And yes, that’s exactly how their music makes me feel.
Their first single ‘One night in October’ managed to reach number 3 in the UK Independant Singles Chart. Their follow-up ‘Adultery’ was recently released (October the 26th if I recall correctly), with their first album coming into shops in the new year.
Other catchy foot-tappingly good songs of theirs include ‘Lost time’, ‘Friday (Don’t need it)’, ‘Joanna’ and ‘Dancing Song’.
As I haven’t yet had chance to go and see them live (boooooo…) I just have to rely on other’s opinions when they say that they re incredible in person. Feel free to buy me tickets to go see them. Or just buy me the boys.
All I can say is a big thank-you to Robert, Michael, Matt and Mark.
You guys are awesome.
